12.5.11 Mahkal Resort nd 5th Ave

12.5.11

Mahekal Resosrt

Today after our tragic day is a day of rest!!

An early morning walk and swim is a great start to the day!

This place is truly gorgeous it is so quiet and the surrounds so quaint with a lovely ambience and as I have said before the fact we are in the sand you feel you are right on the beach, well I guess we are!

Adore looking at the ocean as it  is in ribbons,  deep dark blue, colbalt, then turquoise. Divine!!   Small ocean rainbow

This place just makes you relax! Highly recommend it and it is not expensive!

So margaritas pool side before tacos for lunch, swim read, them meet at Kerries apartment which is next door for drinks!!

Kerrie has been carrying this bottle of champagne since Vegas when we were going to celebrate the wedding but just didn’t get the time!!

So Kerrie decided we would have it to celebrate Johns birthday.

It became a double toast and I think Kerrie said it so well

To Jeans arrivals at Johns Birthday

Salute!

The breeze was more than light but we enjoyed the bubbles and popcorn. We  talked about John and I told Kerrie more about our beautiful Jean

After our champers we headed down to 5th Ave as I had to pick up my shells as the visa wouldn’t go through due to the busyiness of Mothers Day!(when I had tried to purchase!)

A wander down 5th Ave ,in the middle of the road they  artists exhibiting their paintings and we loved Peters whose are in my photos. No training just 8-10 hours of practice, hard at first  he said but now sells  in New York, Holland  and of course here. He is Dutch but  lives here.
He has a website if anyone is interested.
