12th Dec Kyoto – Tokyo
Im feeling really shitty about loosing my camera and I feel I may have left it in the taxi. Bum Bum
I ask concierge if anyone has found it and she takes the details and asks if I have to taxi docket.
Well maybe “Dr” organized may have it and I call him and see if he has and guess what he does!!!
No doubt about him! (won a few points here)
He takes it to the concierge and by the time I get back from a walk the camera is back to me!! Wow What amazing service and honesty here!!
Today a quick look at the temple next door to our hotel the Hyatt Regency Sanjusangen –do built 1164.
Inside are 1000 statues and a big Buddha. A quick look and then I then quickly go to a shop to pick up something I saw a few days ago leaving Henry to take more photos and to pack!!
(Takes him 20 times longer than me)
I head back to the hotel and quickly pack and wait for Henry. Hence having my own room alleviates the annoyance this gives me as I don’t have to watch the long winded procedure and carry on!!!
We head to the station and buy a bento box for the train trip home. This is so easy !!
We head to platform and to my delight 2 geisha girls are waiting to catch a train! Get a quick photo!!
On the train I have the bento box and the detail of the contents is amazing! Photos to prove it!!
The day is sunny and now the next thing we see is Mt Fuji!!! Wow how stunning it is!!
So pleased as we missed it on our way down due to heavy mist!!
We arrive back at the hotel and go for a wander and I buy a gorgeous ISSEY Miyake outfit, black of course!!

Then back to the hotel for a martini and few nibbles and hit the sack!
