15TH AUGUST AT SEA TO COPENHAGEN

15^th AUGUST AT SEA  on our way to  COPENHAGEN

We are greeted with our morning coffee with a lovely letter to each of us thanking us for a wonderful evening from Gianni. The attention for detail is amazing!!

Pilates for the last time and we have to say we can actually notice a difference in our strength!. We only missed 2 classes on the cruise

A lovely leisurely breakfast in the dining room then afterwards I went to the celebrity cook off with Gianni and Mr Smith a guest other team David, Chef Mrs Jones, guest and another staff member! It was a light fun hour of banter and cooking! Gianni is a real character .

I see him before the show and organized to meet at 5.00p.m. shit have to put a work hat on hope I can remember what to do!!

Now at lunch we bump onto Lady Penelope who is so bloody elegant and charming with the upper crust accent and amazing hair!!  She is sure she has meet Susie on cruise s before but we tell her no this is her first!!

Anyway she is chatting to us and tells us she is with her 2 sisters who both have cancer and she wants to have quality time with them. Very sad. Then she tells us she is on her 3^rd husband who is older!I tell her my story and she is surprised telling me I was too young so have a husband die on me!! Couldn’t believe my age which was flattering for me!!

 Always have an older husband she tells us as they appreciate you more when  you come home!! A reall card and wicked sense of humour!1 They have certainly entertained us during the cruise!! Their proper accents, hair and their togetherness and conversation!

Then we pack!! Ugh!!! But once done we head to Le Terrace for lunch outside on the deck for the last time! Placed at a table for 4 Mrs Jones from the cook off and her husband who is blck sit with us! She is very big and very pleasant. Off she goes to pack, we then have a hilarious time with Conway who is like having one of the girls to talk too! Now he says you can never have to many husbands referring them to as shoes, they need to be replaced an you cant have too many of them!

WE are laughing so much he has a really dry sense of humor, reminds of Driving Miss Daisy the movie!

He then tells us that there is a delightful gentleman immaculate and well dressed obviously chairman of a board eg Holden travelling by himself. They have dined with him! He is American and he says you 2 should hook up, Ill organize it!! Well Conway it’s the last night tonight!!! So funny!!

Then James from last night joins us and the conversation continues!!,

 Is Gianni on with Denise from the Spa who dined with us last night!! It was getting very loud and very funny!! Cards exchanged and I told James I was doing the trip from Southampton to New York next year as Joan said she had friends doing it and she was going to have a party for them and if I did it I could come too!!

They have a very large house on Long Island with Waterford chandeliers etc stunningly decorated by someone famous by the previous owners!! I told her I had a cottage!! She said she loves cottages!!! UMMMM

Well a lot happened in the late afternoon and dinner! I had contemplated staying on as it would be easier and I feel comfortable even though it’s a bit like a nursing home, so I decided to see what sort of price they would give me. When I was told I thought no I still go on my way! But I bumped into James who was also contemplating staying on and he had negotiated a great price so I thought I go back again! Well at 10.00p.m I got the ok and so flights are cancelled accommodation cancelled all done!! (These are the advantages of doing your travel yourself as you don’t prepay and no loss of money)
